Abdul Khaaliq, a great six string electric and acoustic bassist, musically referred to as N.Abdul attended
the Berklee School of Music, with a solid background in straight ahead jazz. However, with great understanding ,
deep seated feeling of the so called "smooth jazz" and his passionate love for rhythm and blues, N.Abdul has combined these
styles into his unique non traditional playing. During the course of his career, N.Abdul has recorded many songs in the rhythm
and blues and jazz genre. He has played with the renown saxophonist "Najee" and the renown guitarist "Mark
Whitfield".
In the blues venue N.Abdul has played and recorded with the South's well known blues singers,
"Big Bill Morganfield", "Deacon Bluz", "Theodus Ealey", and many more.
Finally settling
down in Atlanta, GA., N.Abdul gigged with the late Paul Mitchell Trio for many years, where he played nightly at "Dante's
Down the Hatch" in Atlanta. Again, this experience has and continues to proves to be musically rewarding. N.Abdul not
only plays rhythm and blues, smooth jazz and straight ahead hazz, he plays internationally known music. N.Abdul has traveled
extensively performing his Allah-given talents, in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and America. Presently N.Abdul performs
with his group "JazzFlow".
